Redlands Coast
Regional Jobs Committee

Connecting people, industry and opportunity for a stronger Redlands Coast workforce.

Who We Are

The Redlands Coast Regional Jobs Committee (RJC) is a community-driven initiative, proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government. We’re part of a statewide network of 12 RJCs working together to create practical, place-based workforce solutions that meet the needs of local people and industries.

Our Purpose

To connect people, industry and opportunity so the Redlands Coast has a skilled, future-ready workforce that meets industry needs and creates lasting career pathways for locals.

Our Mission

We identify local workforce challenges, co-design solutions, and build connections that help job seekers, employers, educators, and students to thrive, aligning with the Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022–2032.

Our Vision

A prosperous, connected and future-ready Redlands Coast where local talent and industries grow together through strong partnerships and accessible pathways from education to employment.

What We Do

Building Industry Connections

We bring together employers, educators and jobseekers through events, expos, industry visits and networking opportunities — creating spaces where conversations lead to real opportunities.

Creating Career Pathways

We partner with schools, training providers and industry to give people hands-on experiences, clear information and the confidence to take informed career progression steps.

Supporting Employers

We provide resources, workshops and connections to help businesses attract the right people, retain great staff and invest in workforce development.

Driving Local Workforce Solutions

We work with community and industry partners to address local challenges — from skills gaps to transport barriers — ensuring solutions are designed for and by the Redlands Coast.

Building a Skilled Future

Identify local workforce challenges and connect stakeholders with government programs, resources, and events.

Connecting Schools, Industry & Community

We advocate for and deliver solutions to address barriers to training, workforce participation and business growth.

Why It Matters

A strong, skilled, and connected workforce is the foundation of a thriving local economy. When people can access training and meaningful employment, businesses grow, communities prosper, and opportunities multiply.

The RJC ensures local voices shape workforce priorities, and that practical solutions are in place to meet the needs of today — and prepare for the demands of tomorrow.
