The Redlands Regional Jobs Committee (RJC) is pleased to release the Redlands Coast Workforce Action Plan 2026.
The Action Plan outlines the key workforce priorities that will guide local workforce development across the Redlands Coast over the coming year. Developed through industry insight, workforce intelligence and collaboration with local stakeholders, the plan focuses on practical solutions that support employers, strengthen workforce participation and create real employment outcomes.
Alongside the Action Plan, the RJC has also released its 2026 Communications Plan and updated Terms of Reference, providing greater transparency around how workforce priorities will be communicated, delivered and governed throughout the Contract period.
Our Priorities for 2026
The Redlands Coast Workforce Action Plan 2026 focuses on seven priority areas designed to address workforce challenges and support a skilled, future-ready workforce.
1. Workforce Planning
We’re working closely with employers to better understand workforce demand across the region, helping ensure future workforce decisions are informed by real industry needs and local priorities.
2. Skills & Training
We’ll identify priority skills gaps, support stronger alignment between training and employment opportunities, and help connect employers and job seekers with relevant training pathways.
3. Workforce Participation
We’ll support initiatives that help more people enter and remain in the workforce while assisting employers to attract, onboard and retain staff.
4. Employer Collaboration
We’re bringing employers, industry, education and workforce partners together to improve coordination, reduce duplication and strengthen workforce solutions across the region.
5. Data & Insights
Through workforce data and local intelligence, we’ll support better decision-making, identify emerging workforce trends and provide evidence-based insights that help shape future workforce planning.
6. Pathways from School to Work
We’ll strengthen connections between employers and young people, supporting smoother transitions from education into employment and helping build future talent pipelines.
7. Awareness & Engagement
We’ll continue promoting local jobs, career pathways and workforce initiatives while strengthening connections between employers, job seekers and the broader community.
